How It All Happened

you may already know how we met.. but I don't care. the wedsite template suggests we tell our stories...so who am I to buck the system ?

  • Monster Man meets Girl...

    I can tell you the exact day I first saw Tom. It was Friday, October 13,2006. He probably can't recall the way I can ( he has a hard time remembering yesterday) anyway.. Friday 10/13/06.friends of mine were getting married (Kelly & David) . But it was friday the 13th .. and that meant I had to be at Tattooed Heart to get my $13,#13 tattoo. I do believe that was the first friday the 13th special we had. I was the 14th, #13 that day. yeah.. it would have been really cool to be #13. but..

    #13 was sitting in a chair , shirtless with a huge patch of hair missing from his chest and about 20 bic razors in the trash bin.

    I might have said "hi" i don't remember. I went to the wedding.. and never really gave it a second thought.

    #13 started coming in more frequently. The next time I saw him.. he was taking advantage of the neck name special that never really took off.
    he got 2 names on his wrist.. children ..i remember thinking "oh well must be married."

    #13 came in again .. he made arrangements to cover his leg in horror movie portraits. now he had a name.... Monster Man Tom.

    his bi-weekly saturday morning appointments were lined up in the shop calendar . I was never a ball of sunshine , and he was very resilient to my mocking and constant playful,criticism.

    I looked forward to seeing him every other saturday

    After about a year of the re-occuring appointments we finally went on a date... and well you can connect the dots. here we are a couple years later .. planning a kick ass wedding ; ) as soon as tom proposed i was making wedding plans. I figured.. it took us a year to work up to getting a date .. or even exchanging a phone number .. so we better get on the ball for the wedding ; )

    so there you have the shortened , clean version of our story !

  • Tom's side of the story...

    as told by the monster man himself

    Let's see, my side of the story. Well I went to Tattooed Heart on a whim, I saw a special they were running on 13's for $13 on friday the 13th. I went in and happened to beat out a lovely girl who was staring at me with a cold glare of death of being the 13th customer that day. I am awesome that way. So awhile later ( don't ask me how long, I don't do well with remembering time frames) I went in to get tara and nicks names tattooed and another 13 done. When I went up to the shop that bit... Lovely young lady was behind the counter, with the same icy glare. I then set up appointments for various other torture sessions with reverand mr johnny love and she was always there. Gizzard proceeded to mock me and make fun of my underwear and shorts every chance she got, well she still does really but I'm not that far yet. So about midway through my leg sleeve ( my fn awesome award winning leg sleeve! Go see the guys at tattooed heart bitches) I was invited to a halloween party by amy or gizzard or baboo, whatever you may call her, and I was oblivious at the fact that she was enamored by my manliness. All the insults and general shit she gave me was just her showing interest, I didn't realize that, I was too busy trying to see up her skirts and staring at her glowing beauty. Finally we went to see nightmare before christmas in 3D, ate at chevys and made out in the parking lot for like 11 hrs! Score! And now, hundreds of hours of tattoos and good times later, we are unveiling our "dirty little secret" as johnny liked to call it and throwing a big ass party full of ghouls, madmen, monsters, midgets(mike), witches, stitches, bitches and pricks. And that's just the wedding party.
