    Let me just start by saying since this is a DIY monster mash wedding bash we have already enlisted the help of many of you . Just having friends and family help us with all of the various wedding / reception details is a gift in itself..if not a blessing !  Thank you to everyone who is gracious enough to help us and sincerest apologies to those listening to my endless wedding planning rambling .


     Tom & I feel kinda funny registering for gifts. We aren't exactly young'ns and we seem to be pretty much set as far as the essentials go. But that being said , in efforts to make the whole wedding gift experience less of a hassle we did register with Bed Bath & Beyond & Target. Our registries can be found under our name /wedding date/ local = Amy Delapas / Tom Stalcup 10/30/10 , Hanover MD
    We would also make good use of cash for the honeymoon ; ) Once we have chosen a honeymoon destination , we will see if we can register with the resort/agency etc

  • devils night matrimonial mayhem

    our mad monster party wedding


    Tom & I wanted to have a fun wedding. Really less of a wedding and more of a party , where we happen to tie the knot. We actually started dating on Halloween. We love Halloween. cause we are a creepy couple ; )
    Our first date was to see Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D.
    we aren't gothic. We just love this time of year.
    That being said.. we knew Halloween was the only acceptable time for a wedding for us.
    Specifically Halloween Eve because , it's a saturday night.. and we knew it would be crazy to ask people to skip trick or treating on Halloween. We wanted all of our friends with children to have a night of debauchery for themselves. After all... we are all kids at heart.

    We want our closest friends.. and family to come eat drink and be scary!!!
    We really really really want to encourage COSTUMES !!! What would be the fun of a halloween eve wedding if people aren't decked out in outrageous costumes???

    We also are encouraging our guests who own hobby cars, motorcycles, classic hot rods.. etc..Please PLEASE PLEASE drive them to the wedding. We would love the photo ops!!! we promise you copies!!!!
